Hammerhead, creator of industry-leading cycling computers, partnered with Axis Display Group to develop a versatile display to promote its latest innovation, the Karoo 2, within its global retail network.

Design Process:
This unit was originally intended to function solely as a countertop display; however, after design iterations, the choice was made to include an additional pedestal component, providing retailers with flexible options for how and where they construct the Karoo 2 story in their stores.

Final Concept Direction:
Ultimately, Hammerhead proceeded with the Wave concept (pictured above).
This unit features a space-saving countertop piece constructed primarily out of powder coated sheet metal.
Since this is a global display program rollout, a digitally-printed, interchangeable background and product information graphic was included for quick and easy adaptations. This clear acrylic piece is available in multiple languages.
For the stores lacking in counter space or desiring a stronger Karoo presence, an optional freestanding pedestal was manufactured out of lightweight tubing and sheet metal and includes screen-printed branding. The countertop unit can easily be removed from the pedestal should the retailer desire to use it elsewhere in the store.
